How do prediction markets work?
Atualizado 7 de ago. de 2026
A market is a question with two outcomes, YES and NO.
- YES and NO prices always add up to ≈ $1 (100%).
- Buying YES at 40¢ costs $0.40 per share; if it wins you receive $1 (a $0.60 profit).
- You don't have to wait for resolution — you can sell a share anytime at the current price to lock in your result.
Prices move continuously as traders re-assess the probability of the outcome.
